During the winter of 2012, I resolved to challenge myself to reflect upon each day with a haiku. What began as a way to capture my own thoughts and ideas quickly became the framework I chose to tell a story that had been dwelling in my own spirit for some time. The story itself came with ease, but the articulation of visualizations that capture the world within the words has been a journey 7 years in the making through a combination of paper collage, photography and digital design. --Lindsey England
Deep in the forest, one late Autumn afternoon, my journey was paused...
seemingly alone, there came a gentle rustle from behind a bush...
A sudden breeze blew, as day transformed to dusk, the wood growing dark...
